1. What is the Trust Score?

The Trust Score is a measure of your reliability as a contractor on our gig economy marketplace. Similar to a credit score, the Trust Score indicates how dependable you are, based on your professional and unprofessional behaviors.

2. How is the Trust Score calculated?

The Trust Score model considers many factors, including:

Behaviors That Increase Your Score ✅

• Consistent punctuality

• Badges awarded by businesses

• Getting rehired by same businesses

• Getting “favorited” by same businesses

• Positive feedback from businesses

• Positive feedback from other Croux talent

• Successfully completed shifts

• Professional communication

• Relevant work experience

Behaviors That Decrease Your Score ❌

• No-shows (severe impact)

• Late cancellations (within 24 hours of shift start)

• Tardiness

• Suspensions

• Do-not-hire flags from businesses

• Poor clock-in/out habits

• Negative feedback from businesses

• Negative feedback from other Croux talent

3. How can I improve my Trust Score?

Croux’s top-ranked talent all share the same habits:

✓ Show up on time, every time

✓ Are prepared and professional and in uniform

✓ Finish every shift they start

✓ Avoid late cancellations and no-shows

✓ Communicate early if something changes

✓ Earn positive ratings and repeat work

4. How does a higher Trust Score benefit me?

A higher Trust Score can increase your visibility on our platform and make you more attractive to business partners. This may lead to more shift opportunities, a larger network of businesses, and potentially higher earnings. Talent in the "Good" tier or higher receive significantly more shift invitations. Upgrading your Trust Score from Fair to Good is very achievable—it just takes consistent, solid performance over a handful of shifts. Make the most of every opportunity!

5. Can my Trust Score go down?

Yes, your Trust Score can decrease if you exhibit unprofessional behavior, such as arriving late for shifts, being out of uniform, failing to show up, or cancelling at the last minute.

6. How often is my Trust Score updated?

Your Trust Score is updated daily, and every shift counts.

7. Can I dispute a low Trust Score?

Your Trust Score is based on verified shift activity—things like attendance, reliability, and ratings—and updates automatically from real results. Before reaching out, review your recent shifts in the app and look for patterns like late arrivals or cancellations that might explain changes. Most questions clear up after that review. If you still have questions about your Trust Score, reach out to support@croux.co.

8. Can businesses see my Trust Score?

Yes, businesses can see your Trust Score. It is a key factor that businesses consider when selecting talent for shifts. A high Trust Score signals to businesses that you are a reliable and professional talent.

9. How can I check my current Trust Score?

You can check your current Trust Score by logging into your account and navigating to your profile page. Your Trust Score is displayed prominently on your profile.
